We are pleased to invite you to participate in The 4th Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference Mathematical Transgressions, organized by the Institute of Mathematics of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. The conference will be held in Cracow, Poland from 13th to 16th March, 2019.

We are going to exceed the boundaries of mathematics again, and examine issues surrounding mathematics and its pedagogy together with researchers from all over the world who represent not only different scientific disciplines, but also different cultures, and thus may bring fresh perspectives to our discussions. We warmly invite especially mathematicians, mathematics educators, psychologists, philosophers and teachers of mathematics who are interested in transforming mathematics education and making it better for all the students.

We invite all the contributors to develop their own understanding of the concept of transgression examined in relation to mathematics, its history, philosophy and pedagogy. To learn more about the concept, please, download its brief description.

We propose the following subjects to be discussed, but you are more than welcome to extend and enrich that list:

The conference program will include plenary lectures, thematic working sessions and a poster session.
